The US Government has a list of around 75 apps and mobile-friendly websites that you can check out and either download or add to your bookmarks. There doesn’t seem to be any way to filter the apps based on whether it’s available for BlackBerry or the mobile web, and a quick look at some of the apps reveals that there doesn’t seem to be any native BlackBerry apps. Nonetheless, many of the mobile sites look a lot like apps and it probably wouldn’t take much for the developers to port them to BlackBerry using the WebWorks platform. Helpful tip: if it’s a mobile friendly site, you can always create a launcher or add the link to your homescreen. In BlackBerry 7, all you have to do is open the site and select Menu > Add to Home Screen.
